Invoice template for Canva

In Canva, search 'invoice' in Templates, pick a free (non-Pro) design, and replace its placeholder text with your details and line items — or skip the search: download the free PDF base below, upload it to Canva as a background, and add your branding on top. Export as PDF Standard when done.

How to use it, step by step

1. Start from a free Canva invoice template. In Canva, search Templates for 'invoice' and filter to Free. Pick a clean one-page layout — decorative templates slow clients down.
2. Or upload the base PDF. Upload our free template to Canva and use it as your base layer, adding your logo and brand colors on top.
3. Replace every placeholder. Business details, client details, sequential invoice number, dates, line items with quantity × rate, and totals with tax separate. Canva doesn't calculate — do the math first (the free invoice calculator helps).
4. Export as PDF Standard. Share → Download → PDF Standard (Print is heavier than needed). Email the PDF with invoice number and amount in the subject.

When Canva is the right tool

• You want the invoice to match your Canva-made proposal
